In a testament to the power of community support, the Bittinger Volunteer Fire Department is proud to announce the purchase of a brand-new all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and trailer made possible entirely through generous local donations.

The new ATV will be placed in service in the very near future and will greatly enhance the department’s ability to respond to emergencies in hard-to-reach areas, such as wooded trails, rough terrain, and off-road locations where traditional fire trucks cannot go. This is especially vital during search-and-rescue operations, brush fires, and natural disasters.

The department raised funds through a combination of community events, online fundraising campaigns, and direct donations from local residents and businesses. Every dollar contributed helped bring this much-needed piece of equipment to the department.
